De Bichon Frisé en het Markiesje
Bichon Frisé vachtverzorging/ crooming
Benodigdheden
- Slikkerborstel (borstel met haakjes )
- Middel grove hondenkam
-Goede honden shampoo (of een speciale shampoo voor witte honden) en conditioner ,of een combi van honden shampoo & conditioner
- Handdoeken
- Waterblazer
De vachtverzorging van de vraagt veel onderhoud. Daarom is het van belang uw pup al vroeg laat wennen aan borstelen en kammen. Wanneer de pup drie maanden is, is het verstandig een afspraak te maken bij een goede trimsalon (liefst met verstand van de Bichon Frisé) .Hij/zij kan het beste om de ca. 6 weken gewassen en geknipt worden.
Eerst met de slikkerborstel de vacht borstelen. Vanaf de huid beginnen met borstelen in laagjes. Kleine klitjes kan u eruit borstelen. E.v.t. vaste klit kunt u met de punt van de schaar van de huid af door knippen.
Na het borstelen kamt u de vacht met de kam in opwaartse bewegingen. Met de slikker borstel borstelt u de vacht los. Nadat de vacht klitvrij is kunt u de hond in bad doen. Sommige shampoos dienen verdund te worden met water. Zet alle benodigdheden alvast klaar. Zoals de shampoo, conditioner, handdoeken en föhn/waterblazer. Maak de vacht goed nat. Tweemaal wassen met shampoo daarna 1 x met conditioner of de shampoo incl. conditioner gebruiken. Na het wassen knijpen we het water uit de vacht. NIET WRIJVEN omdat u er dan klitjes er wrijft. U kunt voor het drogen van de vacht een speciale honden waterblazer gebruiken. Deze blaast het water uit de vacht. Tussendoor af en toe stoppen en nogmaals borstelen…..daarna weer blazen ect.

Supplies

- Medium coarse dog comb
-Good dog shampoo (or a special shampoo for white dogs) and conditioner, or a combination of dog shampoo & conditioner

The coat care of the dog requires a lot of maintenance. That is why it is important to get your puppy used to brushing and combing at an early age. When the puppy is three months old, it is wise to make an appointment at a good grooming salon (preferably one with knowledge of the Bichon Frisé). It is best to wash and cut it every approximately 6 weeks. What you can learn yourself:
First brush the coat with the slicker brush. Start brushing from the skin in layers. You can brush out small tangles. Possibly You can cut a solid tangle away from the skin with the tip of the scissors.After that bruch again and again....
After brushing, comb the coat with the comb in upward movements. Use the slicker brush to loosen the fur. After the coat is tangle-free, you can give the dog a bath. Some shampoos need to be diluted with water. Have all the supplies ready in advance. Such as the shampoo, conditioner, towels and the water blower. Wet the coat thoroughly. Wash twice with shampoo, then once with conditioner or use the shampoo incl. conditioner. After washing we squeeze the water out of the coat. DO NOT RUB as you do will again tangles. You can use a special dog water blower to dry the coat. This blows the water out of the coat. Stop occasionally and brush again... then blow again, etc.
